University of Central Missouri student account questions
What happens if I have an unpaid balance at the University of Central Missouri?
Students with past due balances at UCM will have a financial hold placed on their account that can prevent registration for future semesters and block the release of official transcripts. UCM partners with Heartland ECSI (844-454-6100) to contact students before accounts are sent to outside collection agencies. To resolve a hold, contact Student Financial Services at 660-543-8266 or visit Ward Edwards Building, Room 1100, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
Does the University of Central Missouri offer a payment plan for tuition?
Yes. UCM offers a 5-month installment plan for Fall and Spring semesters and a 3-month plan for Summer. A $45 non-refundable Nelnet enrollment fee is charged. A 1.5% monthly charge is assessed on any past-due installment balance. Manage your plan at online.campuscommerce.com or call 866-441-4637. Contact Student Financial Services at 660-543-8266 for questions.
Does simply not attending class count as a withdrawal at UCM?
No. Non-attendance is not treated as a withdrawal at UCM. Students who never attend a class may receive an F grade rather than being dropped. If you stop attending, your financial aid eligibility may be affected and you may be required to repay aid credited to your account. You must officially withdraw through MyCentral to avoid these consequences.
