University of Central Arkansas student account questions
When is tuition due and what happens if I don't pay on time?
All tuition, fees, room, and board are due before the first scheduled class day. If you do not pay in full or have an approved payment plan in place by the payment deadline, a $25 monthly late payment fee will be assessed. Administration may drop you from your classes if payment is not complete, a payment plan is not in place, or financial aid is not in place by the 15th class day.
How do I set up a payment plan and what does it cost?
UCA offers payment plans through CashNet via myUCA. A non-refundable $30 enrollment fee is required. For fall and spring, payments are processed on the 15th of each month; for summer, on the 1st. Plans can be set up before August 15 (fall) or January 15 (spring) for a 20% down payment plus four installments. A $25 late payment fee applies for missed installments, and $15 per returned item.
Is there a fee to pay by credit card, and what payment methods are free?
Yes. Credit and debit card payments made through CashNet carry a 2.95% convenience fee (4.25% for international cards), with a minimum fee of $3. This fee is non-refundable. eCheck (electronic ACH from checking or savings) is UCA's preferred payment method and is accepted at no cost. Cards are not accepted at the Cashier's window.
What is the refund policy if I withdraw from a course?
Students who officially withdraw within the refund period may receive a 100% or 75% adjustment. For a full-term fall or spring course, 100% refund is available through the first week of classes; 75% refund applies for approximately the next two weeks. After that, no refund is granted. Refunds of less than $5 are not issued. Non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal.
