University of Arkansas at Little Rock student account questions
What happens if I have an unpaid balance at UA Little Rock?
If your balance is $500 or more and you have not made payment arrangements by the payment due date, a Student Accounts hold will be placed on your account. This hold prevents you from seeing your current grades, obtaining transcripts (official or unofficial), receiving your diploma, and adjusting your course schedule. Monthly late fees of $25–$50 will be assessed on past-due balances for the remainder of the semester. If the debt remains unpaid approximately 60 days after the last day of the semester, you will receive a 30-day collection warning. Unresolved accounts are sent to a collection agency, with fees of up to 33% added. Contact the Bursar's Office at studentaccounts@ualr.edu or 501-916-3450.
What holds can prevent me from registering or accessing my records at UA Little Rock?
A Student Accounts hold (triggered by an unpaid balance of $500 or more) blocks access to grades, transcripts, diploma, and course schedule changes. A 'Doubtful' hold (placed when a debt has been written off as uncollectible) blocks registration and transcripts until the debt is paid in full. An advising hold may also block registration — all degree-seeking undergraduates are required to meet with their assigned academic advisor before registering each semester. Check your Workday account (workday.ualr.edu) under Financials Hub and your student dashboard to see active holds.
Where can I view my account balance, charges, and holds at UA Little Rock?
Log into Workday at workday.ualr.edu using your UA Little Rock email and password (MFA required). From the homepage, go to Financials Hub to see your charges, payments, anticipated aid, and account balance. Electronic billing statements are generated on the last business day of each month and sent to your UA Little Rock email address. You are responsible for checking your UA Little Rock email regularly — failure to read billing notices does not waive late fees.
How do I set up a payment plan at UA Little Rock?
UA Little Rock offers installment payment plans for fall and spring semesters. The 4-installment plan requires 25% down plus a $50 non-refundable enrollment fee, with three additional 25% payments (late fee: $50/month if missed). The 7-installment plan requires 15% down plus a $50 fee, with additional installments (late fee: $25 bi-monthly). A 3-installment summer plan is also available. You can enroll online through Workday or in person at the Cashier's Office (SSC Lobby). Payment plans are not available for prior-term balances.
