Shenandoah University student account questions
What happens if I have an unpaid balance at Shenandoah University?
Students with an outstanding balance at the end of a term are prohibited from registering for future terms until the debt is satisfied. Diplomas and other pertinent documents are also withheld until all financial obligations are met. If payment is not received within 30 days of notice, the account may be transferred to collections, with fees up to 33-1/3% of the debt and 8% APR per Virginia law. Contact Student Accounts at StudAccts@su.edu or (540) 542-6519, Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Does Shenandoah University offer a payment plan?
Yes. The Shenandoah University Payment Plan is available to enrolled degree-seeking students (excluding 100% online asynchronous 8-week graduate programs). Apply each term by July 26 for fall or November 26 for spring. A 2% setup fee is charged per term. Fall and spring plans each have 5 monthly payments; summer 1 has 3 monthly payments. Payments received more than 10 days after the due date incur a $22 late fee. Apply via the SU Payment Plan Contract form (Etrieve) using your SU email.
