Pratt Institute-Main student account questions
What happens if I have an unpaid balance at Pratt Institute?
Students with an unpaid balance will be charged a $500 late fee per semester after the initial disbursement of financial aid. If you are on an SFS Hold due to an outstanding tuition balance, you will not be able to receive your diploma or register for future courses until the balance is paid in full. If payment or payment arrangements are not made, the outstanding balance will be referred to an outside collection agency. Contact Student Financial Services at sfs@pratt.edu or 718.636.3599, or reach your assigned SFS Counselor directly.
How do I view my bill and pay tuition at Pratt?
Log in to OnePratt at https://one.pratt.edu and go to 'Finances' to view and pay your bill. Semester bills are available primarily online (Fall bills available after July 1, due August 1; Spring 2027 due December 19). You can pay online by credit/debit card via Point & Pay (2.75% fee) or by check payable to Pratt Institute. Cash is not accepted.
Does Pratt Institute offer a tuition payment plan?
Yes. Pratt partners with Nelnet Campus Commerce to offer a payment plan. You can divide your semester balance into 3, 4, or 5 monthly installments for a $115 enrollment fee per semester. Sign up through OnePratt (Finances > Nelnet Payment Plan). The plan is not available for summer sessions. Contact Nelnet at 800-609-8056 or SFS at sfs@pratt.edu for help.
Who do I contact about financial aid, billing, or my SFS hold at Pratt?
Student Financial Services (SFS) handles both financial aid and billing. Contact the main office at sfs@pratt.edu or 718.636.3599, located at Myrtle Hall, 2nd Floor (MβF, 9 AMβ5 PM).
