Point Loma Nazarene University student account questions
What happens if I have an unpaid balance at PLNU?
If you have an unpaid balance after the semester payment deadline, PLNU will assess a 5% late fee on your outstanding balance approximately 30 days after the deadline. You will be blocked from further class registration and transcript requests until all charges are paid in full. Contact Student Financial Services at sfs@pointloma.edu or (619) 849-2538 for options.
Does PLNU offer a payment plan?
Yes. PLNU offers the Tuition Installment Plan (TIP), an interest-free monthly payment plan. You can choose 3-, 4-, or 5-month plans per semester. There is a $40 non-refundable enrollment fee per term. Returned/failed payments incur a $25 fee; two returned payments cancel the plan. Enroll through the Finances worklet in Workday.
How do I view and pay my PLNU bill?
Log in to Workday (workday.pointloma.edu), select the Finances worklet, and click 'View Statement' to see your balance and charges. Pay online using e-check (ACH bank transfer) — PLNU does not accept credit or debit card payments. You can also pay by check via mail or in person at the Cashier in Draper Hall (Mon-Fri 9am-4pm). Billing notifications are sent to your official PLNU email.
