How do I view my bill and make a payment at Elon University?
Access your bill through e-Bill at ebill.elon.edu by logging in via OnTrack (ontrack.elon.edu) → View My Balance. Fall term charges typically appear mid-to-late June; spring charges post on or shortly after December 1. We recommend paying online using a U.S. checking or savings account (no fee). Credit/debit card payments incur a 2.85% service fee. Payments must be received by the due date to avoid a registration hold on your account. Does Elon University offer a payment plan, and what does it cost?
Yes. Elon offers an interest-free, semester-based payment plan for Fall and Spring semesters (not available for Summer or Winter terms). There is a $50 non-refundable enrollment fee per semester. Once enrolled, installments are automatically processed on the 15th of each month. The plan adjusts automatically if your account balance changes. To enroll, log in to e-Bill through OnTrack and select the Enroll in Plan option. If an installment fails, a $30 NSF fee is charged; after two consecutive failures the plan is terminated. Reactivation requires contacting sfs@elon.edu. Credit/debit card installments incur the standard 2.85% fee.
What is Elon's refund policy if I withdraw from classes?
For undergraduate students withdrawing in Fall or Spring semesters, tuition and fees are refunded on a pro rata basis for the first eight weeks: you are charged 5% of the semester's cost in week 1, 10% in week 2, 40% in week 3, 60% in week 4, and 75% in weeks 5-8; no refund is available after week 8. Medical withdrawals are charged or refunded by the week. Housing is refunded on a pro rata daily basis; meal plans are refunded on a weekly pro rata basis.
