DePaul University student account questions
What happens if I have an unpaid balance at DePaul University?
A financial hold is placed on your account when your balance is $800 or more and is 31 days past due. This hold prohibits you from registering for future courses, obtaining your diploma, and utilizing alumni benefits. Late payments also incur a $100 fee and may restrict access to transcripts. If your past due balance reaches $201 and remains unpaid for one quarter or more without an internal payment plan, it may be referred to an external collection agency — at which point you must resolve the debt directly with that agency.
How do I check my holds and account balance at DePaul?
Log in to Campus Connect at campusconnect.depaul.edu using your BlueKey credentials. From your Student Homepage, click the Student Accounts tile to view billing activity, outstanding balances, and any holds on your account. You can also enroll in payment plans and set up direct deposit for refunds through this portal. All DePaul billing notices are sent to your BlueM@il address (username@depaul.edu).
Does DePaul offer a payment plan for tuition?
Yes. The Single Term Payment Plan lets you split your current term charges into three monthly installments for a $30 per term enrollment fee. The plan is interest-free and requires no credit check. Enroll via Campus Connect: Student Accounts tile > ePay/eBill > Enroll in Payment Plan. You must re-enroll each term. Plans may be cancelled if a past due balance exists or if payments are more than three days late.
Who do I contact about my DePaul student account or financial aid?
Contact Student Financial Accounts (billing, holds, payments) or Financial Aid at (312) 362-8610, or visit them in person at the SAC Building, Suite 101, 2320 N. Kenmore Ave (Lincoln Park Campus). Hours: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 9am–5pm; Wed 10am–5pm (closed 1–2pm daily). Current students can also submit support requests at my.depaul.edu. A Zoom Lobby is available Mon–Fri 10am–1pm and 2–4pm.

Common questions about Email Cheat Code at DePaul University
Does Email Cheat Code work with DePaul University email?
Yes. DePaul University uses Microsoft 365 (Outlook) for student email. Email Cheat Code connects to your @depaul.edu account with read-only access and sends you SMS alerts when critical emails arrive - financial aid deadlines, registration holds, bursar notices, and academic notifications.
If you're among the first students at your school to connect, your IT department may need to approve the app first - we can help with that.
What emails does Email Cheat Code monitor at DePaul University?
We monitor your DePaul University inbox for the emails that actually matter - financial aid deadlines, FAFSA verification requests, registration holds, tuition payment reminders, academic standing notices, and advisor communications. Newsletters, club emails, and campus-wide blasts are filtered out. You only get a text when something needs your attention.
Is my DePaul University email account safe with Email Cheat Code?
Yes. We connect through your provider's official OAuth sign-in - the same process you'd use to connect any trusted app. We can only read your emails, never send, delete, or modify them.
Email content is never stored - only a short alert summary is saved. Our security was independently verified through a CASA Tier 2 audit by TAC Security for the App Defense Alliance. You can revoke access anytime from your account settings.
