Denison University student account questions
What happens if I have an unpaid balance at Denison University?
Denison does not publish specific dollar thresholds for holds, but students with unpaid balances may be ineligible to attend classes. A 1% late fee is assessed on the last working day of each month until the balance is paid. Students with outstanding balances will also be denied an honorable separation (diploma clearance) until all university bills are paid in full. Contact Student Accounts at studentaccounts@denison.edu or 740-587-6276.
Does Denison offer a payment plan to spread out tuition costs?
Yes. Denison offers a Monthly Payment Plan each semester with 3 or 4 equal monthly installments. There is a $50 non-refundable enrollment fee per semester. The 4-payment plan requires no down payment; the 3-payment plan requires a 20% down payment. Sign up through MyDenison (my.denison.edu) via View Account or Pay Your Bill. Contact studentaccounts@denison.edu or 740-587-6276 with questions.
Where can I see my Denison account balance?
Log into MyDenison at my.denison.edu, select the Student tab, and click View Account or Pay Your Bill under the My Statement section. This opens Nelnet, which shows your live account balance. To view financial aid awards, go to MyApps > My Financial Aid.
What is Denison's refund policy if I withdraw from classes?
Tuition refunds depend on when you withdraw: 90% for weeks 1-2; 50% for weeks 3-4; 25% for weeks 5-8; no refund after week 8. You must complete an exit interview with Student Life to be officially withdrawn. Stopping attendance without completing this forfeits any refund. Contact studentaccounts@denison.edu or 740-587-6276 for details.
